Geek It! Otaku Out and About: One Piece Mania in Japan
Japan has a passionate love for Eiichiro Oda’s ONE PIECE. And this is evident by the amount of One Piece mania across Japan. During our recent trip, we happened to stumble upon a One Piece Mugiwara Store in Shibuya.
Located on the seventh floor of Shibuya’s Marui (five minutes away from Shibuya station), this One Piece Mugiwara Store is definitely worth the visit if you’re a fan of the anime or manga.
From top to bottom, the entire store is decked out and dedicated to One Piece. This store has every type of merchandise that you can think of — keyrings, plushies, stationery, t-shirts, snacks … and even Luffy’s straw-hat!
While you’re there, you can also get One Piece gachapons, create One Piece coins, take selfies with photo walls and life-size statues and more. One piece of advice though (get it?) — make sure you bring plenty of money to spoil yourself and your friends!
