Get ready to burn up on the track with Sakamichi and his Sohoku teammates — YOWAMUSHI PEDAL THE MOVIE is coming to Australian and New Zealand cinemas for ONE weekend only on December 5th and 6th!
Based on the award-winning manga series and the follow-up to the 62-episode series, Yowamushi Pedal the Movie is the ultimate treat for all Yowamushi Pedal fans out there!
After winning the heated Inter-High race, Sakamichi and the other Sohoku team members receive an invitation to compete in the Kumamoto Hi Province Mountain Range Race towards the end of summer. The top teams from around the country compete in this race, including Sohoku’s rivals Hakone Academy (who yearns to take down Sohoku), Kyoto Fushimi, and Hiroshima Kureminami — as well as Kumamoto Daiichi High School’s team led by Shin Yoshimoto.
Here at CtrlGeekPod, we are huge fans of the sports genre as we love our Ace of Diamond, Free!, and Kuroko no Basuke. Although we personally haven’t seen much of Yowamushi Pedal, we’ve heard great things about the series. Just based on the trailer, the story has got a lot of heart, spirit and determination that will strike a chord with sports fans.
