Geek It! Spotlight: Supanova Pop-Culture Expo Sydney 2015
Comics, cosplay, wrestling, celebrities, TV/film and simply just an explosion of geekery in general…SUPANOVA POP CULTURE EXPO is one of Sydney’s highly-anticipated conventions every year. With Supanova Gold Coast and Melbourne finally out of the way, Supanova is making its next stop at SYDNEY for three huge days from Friday 19th – Sunday 21st June at Sydney Olympic Park.
As a society that consumes a lot of pop-culture, it is always an honour to meet these actors and actresses who play our favourite TV/television characters in real life. Over the years, Supanova has hosted a variety of great guests including Stan Lee and Christopher Lolyd themselves. Year 2015 is no different as this year’s Supanova Sydney guest list is looking incredible more than ever! Supa-stars include Nathan Fillion (Castle, Firefly), Bonnie Wright (Harry Potter), Elizabeth Henstridge (Agents of SHIELD), Graham McTavish (Hobbits) and Dean Haglund (X-Files).
We’re also seeing a bit of 90s flashback at this year’s convention — not only are the Brady Bunch former child stars (Susan Olsen, Christopher Knight and Mike Lookinland) coming to Australia, but Power Rangers’ Red Ranger (Austin St John) and Black Ranger (Walter Jones) are joining the fun as well!
But nothing beats special guests from the animation/voice-acting department. Are you ready for it? CtrlGeekGirl takes a look at this year’s voice-acting guests coming to Supanova Sydney!
